Privacy policy

This notice explains how MN Solutions (to be confirmed) ("we") handles your personal data in MN Studio, under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia.

What we collect

Account: your email address, name and sign-in records.
Business details: business name, WhatsApp number and other contact details you add for the end card of your videos.
Content: the photos you upload (which may show faces), the story and other text you type, and the scripts, voice-overs and videos we make for you.
Purchases: what you bought and when. Card and online-banking details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, and the cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language.
Messages and feedback: what you send to support and the ratings you give to videos.

Your email address is needed to create an account. Business details and photos are needed to make a video; without them we may not be able to make it.

Why we use it

to make, store and deliver your videos;
to run your account, your seconds and your purchases;
to keep the service safe, including checks that block automated sign-ups and abuse;
to send you service emails, such as sign-in codes and "your video is ready";
to send you news and promotions by email, only if you agreed when you signed up or later; you can turn this off any time in Account › Notifications;
to answer your questions and improve MN Studio;
to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run MN Studio, and only for the purposes above:

cloud hosting and file storage;
AI providers that write the script, make the voice-over and music, and render the video from your photos and text;
a bot-protection service on the sign-up form;
our email provider;
our payment provider, when you buy seconds.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it.

Data outside Malaysia

Our servers are in Singapore, and some AI providers process data in other countries. We use providers that protect personal data to a standard comparable to Malaysian law.

Photos of people

Only upload photos of people who agreed to appear in an ad. If you appear in an MN Studio video without your consent, contact us and we will remove it from our systems.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data and photos while your account is open. A finished video stays in your Library for 30 days after it is ready, then moves to the Archive tab, where you can still watch and download it, and we email you the date it will be deleted. 60 days after the video was ready, its file is deleted. After you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Purchase records are kept for 7 years because tax law requires it.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, ask us to stop processing it, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us at (to be confirmed); we reply within 21 days. Withdrawing consent or deleting the account means we can no longer make videos for you.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections, access is limited to the staff who need it, and files are stored with private, time-limited links. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

MN Studio is not meant for people under 18.
